My help line

Dear students,

Many of you meet me and want to talk to me on various issues on how to study, prepare for exams, be confident, growing well and so on. Having felt the need for helping you, we are already into Formal Counseling in the school. But still, to maximise our help, I’d like you to blog  which might be of use to other students also. Matters which are very confidential or private may be dropped in the school “Drop Your Worry” Box.

Feel free to share your problems, also share if you solved it well for other students to handle their problems.

I may try to give  suggestions which might be of use to you. You have the right to be heard! Exercise well.

  1. Taking notes in class will increase our concentration in learning.
Next time in your language classes learn to make notes of new words and idioms with their meanings. Write down the summary and gist of what is taught in your own words.
For subjects, list down all derivations, definition in brief, diagrams, years and events, important terminalogy and meanings and gist of what your teacher taught on the day.
Refer to this before you do your home work every time.
Keep doing it for a week and go through all your notes at once.
Write on this blog how you feel about this.
